Tottenham and Chelsea interested in 26-year-old PL ace available on a bargain

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham at the end of the season.

According to Footmercato, Tottenham will face competition from Chelsea and Newcastle United as well. The 26-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season and he is unlikely to renew his deal with him.

A summer move is on the cards and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can win the race for his signature. They will need defensive reinforcements at the end of the season and the 26-year-old could prove to be the ideal acquisition.

Signing him on a free transfer would represent an excellent bargain and it would allow Tottenham to improve the other areas of their squad as well. Adarabioyo is a proven performer in the English top flight and he should be able to make an instant impact at the North London club and improve them.

Tottenham have conceded nine goals in their last three league matches and they will have to tighten up at the back if they are serious about winning trophies and competing in the UEFA Champions League. Adarabioyo will add presence, physicality and defensive steel to the side. The opportunity to play for a big club like Tottenham will be quite attractive for him and he will hope to compete in European football with them and push for trophies.

Similarly, Chelsea have been quite vulnerable defensively and they need a quality defender as well. Thiago Silva will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract and he will have to be replaced in the summer. The 26-year-old Englishman could prove to be a quality replacement for the Brazilian.

Whoever ends up signing him on a free transfer will have a major bargain on their hands.
